Children received a stamp in their 'Rise Up And Read' booklet for every book they completed over the summer, and would earn some great rewards along the way to encourage them to push on to the end.
I was tasked with creating the reading challenge booklet, as well as the associated promotional materials. I developed a narrative based on the Children’s Library mascot – a bird named Red – traveling back in time to meet a motley squadron of birds engaged in a desperate battle for survival!
